The Astronomer-Explorer Crib

Do you know that:
The earliest map found in records was 16500 BCE in Lascaux cave located southwestern part of France, surprisingly it not a terrestrial cartograph but a map of the sky, the wall map portrays the image of three brightest stars Vega, Deneb and Altair, the stars of Summer Triangle.

The ancient Explorers are also Astronomers.

My own place of solitude

When i am tired of work, burned out of responsibilities and weary of day to day routine, I just take an escape from the Urban Jungle and find this place I called "my place of solitude". Blazing Glory of Libon

Do you know that:
Several deep wells in Libon amazingly ignites into flame, it is believe that came from the bubbles which contains Methane gas, this local wonder was accidentally discovered by a peasant who once threw a cigarette butt on the 30ft deep well intended for irrigation, way back 1962, up to now the methane gas emission still as strong as the time it was discovered. No one knows maybe Libon will become the new Malampaya plant of Bicol.
