"Live Love Travel"

"Live Love Travel"

This year's travel tour expo organized by the Philippine Travel Agency Association is another sucess. Not only boosting promotion of different destinations but showed how to live and love the art of travel. The centerpiece of the event is the nation's tourism slogan "Its more fun in the Philippines" booth that offers the best tourism regions in the country, supported by other countries as far as South Africa.

The success of these expos proves that tourism is now booming in the "Pearl of the Orient" contributing to consistent economic rise.

Travel now, appreciate the beauty of our beloved motherland and contribute to local economic boom.

Place that proves tourism is directly proportional to economic growth is in Albay. Where tourism create jobs, opportunities and pride.

Binondo: Oldest Chinatown in the world

Binondo: Oldest Chinatown in the world

It isn't my first time to visit Binondo but its worth habit forming just like a Benson's eclair of my childhood. This time at Chinese New Year, the streets are filled with people from all walks of life, decors in red flooded the alleys and dragon and lions dances gracefully at every corner. Kiong Hee Huat Tsai! As the Sangley's say it. A new year is colorful at the oldest chinese village in the world, the pioneers who lead the country on international trade even before the Spanish Colonization.

Mix of culture is evident in the town as the one of the most historical church in the Philippines, Binondo Church also celebrates a holy mass in complement with the yearly festivities.

Nostalgic, Colorful and Festive Binondo!
