Do you know that:
The 1st Christian settlement in Luzon is in Libon, Albay. It was in 1573 when the Spaniards expand their territory and landed at a place near a lake. They build a church inside a citadel and called it Villa Santiago de Libon.
The picture shows the only remains of the old church built by the Franciscan missionaries.
