2000 years old skulls of Cagraray Island Bacacay, Albay

Do you know that:
Prehistoric human remains with peculiar flat and elongated skulls was discovered in caves located in Cagraray Island, they were first discovered by the French scholars Montano and Rey, they were found together with shell artifacts, ornaments and burial jars. They was dated from 200 BC by the effort of Robert Fox and Alfredo Evangelista.

Artificial cranial deformation is an ancient customs of the cagraray native tribes, in which the newborn baby's head is flattened by two boards thus making it not round and they also flattens the forehead, this deformation is a mark of beauty to them.
